Too much to unpack

I started this post initially wanting to talk about unpacking Fall. Most people in major cities have to go through this process because there is this ridiculous idea that closet space isn't a necessity when floor plans were developed, I swear building developers and storage companies are in kahoots...but I digress. I am here to say save yourself a few weeks and layer up on your summer favs! After all Fall doesn't officially start until the 22nd, and I am sure with this fickle weather we have a few more dog days left. Unpack in moderation, its healthier that way :) ! The basic of most basic keys to best dressed during this transitional period are below!

1) Layer! Great to do now and deep into the colder seasons. Why be one dimensional when you can be three. It goes Top, Bottom, Anddd..... (add another piece).

2) If you have sleeveless pieces (like the jumpsuit shown) pair it with short or long sleeve tops. Some of your tanks can become shells, some of your dresses can become second pieces and make your look a little more dynamic.

3) Add a little warmth if necessary. This can manifest in the form of a traditional blazer, light coat, denim jacket or cute colorful cardi if you are up for it!

4) This is always a rule and never forget, the devil is in the details! Accessorize! Shoes, belts, bracelets, earrings, rings... add a piece or two that works! Statement pieces or minimalist trinkets are all welcome!
